WORKSHOP: TYPES OF KNOWLEDGE

Tues 26 April 2022, Palais Meran, Leonhardstr. 15, Ground Floor, Room 26

Western thinking has privileged theoretical knowledge, sometimes to a point near identification: Knowledge in the full sense must manifest as theory. And yet – traces of alternative types of knowledge, often more relevant to music, abound. In this workshop, we hope to discuss, e.g., embodied knowledge, emotional knowledge, spatial knowledge, or the knowledge generated by artistic research.
